After hearing back from you on this feature and concept update, we came to know that some businesses were relying on the workflow of creating a draft order, issuing an invoice and they put the booking on the calendar only after the invoice was paid. For that specific use case, we just had a new release and brought back that as a new secondary CTA on our Admin Booking page: โSave Draft Orderโ.
Be aware that you can still add a booking to a draft order after Book, so the common workflow is:
Book > Draft > Order
And an alternate workflow which we used to have and also available by REQUEST only:
Draft > Order > Book
