Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. After hearing back from you on this feature and concept update, we came to know that some businesses were relying on the workflow of creating a draft order, issuing an invoice and they put the booking on the calendar only after the invoice was paid. For that specific use case, we just had a new release and brought back that as a new secondary CTA on our Admin Booking page: “Save Draft Order”.
Be aware that you can still add a booking to a draft order after Book, so the common workflow is:
Book > Draft > Order
And an alternate workflow which we used to have and also available by REQUEST only:
Draft > Order > Book
